Storage Packing Tips:

Protect the contents - use bubble wrap or newspaper
Use 2”-3” wide pressure tape to secure your boxes
Label your boxes – include your name, address and cell phone number
Distribute the weight in the box when shipping. If you can’t pick it up…it’s too heavy
Refrigerators/freezers – unplug at least 24 hours before pick up. Defrost and dry thoroughly
Purchase additional insurance – Each order is insured, but you can buy more for only $9 per $1000
If using the “Ship To School” program, clearly mark on the box “Ship to Program” and label the Residence Hall and room number where it is to be delivered. This alerts our movers to accept the box and deliver at move-in time

Let's get started. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

	Pick your service. Select from summer storage service, ship-to school and others. Click here to get started.
	Order your boxes. Place an order with USS and boxes will be delivered to your room 1 week prior to move-out!
	Sign up and select your pick-up time. Sign up online to receive services from University and Student Services, and select a date and time to have us stop by and pick up all your belongings.
	Review pricing & place order. Check out your final price, make sure everything looks right and place your order. Add additional items as needed.
	Sit back and wait for your confirmation from USS! An email will be sent to you confirming your order, as well as your day and time of pick up. If that time is not available we'll notifiy you of additional options. That's it! We'll take it from here! Just sit back and wait for your pick-up. Our drivers will come directly to your room.
